Meet Miss Shaylee
Shaylee Christiansen developed a love of dance at the early age 3 and a heart for teaching kids during the many dance camps, spring shows and studio dance classes she has taught. In high school, she danced in studio and was captain of the cheer squad and dance team. During her senior year, Shaylee inherited an existing studio and put on the final recital. In college, she danced in many school dance clubs and took several dance classes. She has a degree in Kinesiology: Exercise Science from Iowa State University and has taught group fitness classes and personal trained since 2011. Most recently, for the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center Fitness and Health Center. Shaylee lives on a farm in Newell with her husband Carl and their three children Gracyn, Reagyn, and Gideon, dog Mika and kitten Murphy.

Meet The Instructors
Miss Paige
Paige Elbert, a Waterloo native, began dance & gymnastics at the age of three and continued throughout high school for her high school dance team. Paige has been a 5th Street Dance instructor for 3 years now. Throughout her dance career she helped teach younger students through studio dance and dance clinics. In her free time, Paige enjoys working with flowers for her floral business Petals by Paige. She currently resides just outside of Sac city with her husband Blake and their four children, Brinley, Grayson, Kollyns and Maesynn.
Miss Katie
Katie Morris, an Alta native, started at the age of 3 competing in gymnastics for almost 10 years while also dancing competitively in Le Mars for 5 years. She continued her dancing career on her high school's dance team as well as in college on Buena Vista University's dance team. Since then, she has grown to love being a coach for gymnastics, while coaching and managing Springers Gymnastics (before it was the Turn Around Gym) in Storm Lake, IA; coaching volleyball, softball, and now dance! She taught at Sioux Central Schools and loves to go on walks by the lake with her husband, her daughter and kitty!
MISS OLIVIA
Olivia Blum, a recent graduate of East Sac County Schools has been doing gymnastics since she was 5 years old and performed tumbling routines at the Iowa State Fair for 3 years! She has been teaching with 5th Street Dance for 1 year! She loves this opportunity to get back into something she really enjoys and cannot wait to help teach all the kids and of course HAVE FUN!
MISS MORGAN
Morgan Goebel was born and raised in Cherokee, Iowa. She began her dance career when she was three years old. She grew up as a competitive gymnast and also danced at the competitive level starting her 8th grade year. She has been a dance instructor for five years, teaching all ages and all different styles of dance. She finished her competitive dance career last year at Morningside University and will be transferring to Buena Vista University to continue her studies of Secondary Education for All Sciences!
MISS ANDREA
Andrea Koch grew up around Lake View and has always loved dancing and teaching. She taught dance throughout high school at Lynn's Dance Studio in Lake View and has been dancing since 4th grade. She resides in Schaller with her husband, 6 kids, and her dog Barkley the Corgi! She loves gardening and painting in her free time and works at Wee Wildcat daycare in Schaller. Her main goal, like Miss Shaylee, is to show the importance of technique and emotion behind every step. She has always been around kids and understands the importance of a fun and nurturing environment. Her youngest daughter Marleigh who has a passion for dance as well will be teaching with her. She cannot wait to get to teaching so these young little feet get off to the right "step"!
